Congratulations to our technology enabled care service (TECS) teams who have been shortlisted as finalists in the TEC Hero award and Transformation award categories
The awards were created to celebrate the positive impact technology enabled care services have on the lives of millions of people in the UK and its a great honour to have been shortlisted against stiff competition.
Finalists in all six categories will be recognised, and winners announced at the Award Ceremony concluding the first day of the TSA ITEC Conference 2022.
Our TEC Hero finalist, Aaron Marshall, who will be at the ceremony, has been nominated for his work during COVID. Helping roll TEC solutions out to people who were isolating, helping install TEC solutions in new locations posing unique challenges and generally being a TEC Hero to those in the community who needed extra support during that time.
Our second shortlisting goes to a partnership of the NRS Healthcare West Sussex TEC team, West Sussex County Council and NHS West Sussex Clincal Commissioning Group in the Transformation category. Their entry focused on the innovative changes and and new elements introduced into the West Sussex TEC service since the partnership commenced in May 2019.
When asked how he felt about the achievement, Head of Technology Enabled Care for NRS Healthcare, James Lampert said:
To be shortlisted as finalists, with a very high standard of applications, in two categories is incredible for the NRS Healthcare technology enabled care team.
The categories in which we’re shortlisted demonstrate how well we have overcome the adversity of the last two years.
Aaron Marshall, our TEC Hero, has gone over and above in his actions and commitment during COVID-19, with his outstanding resilience, energy and mission for the betterment of his community within TEC recognised.
Our transformation of the West Sussex TEC service, in partnership with West Sussex County Council and West Sussex Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) is the subject of our second shortlisted entry in the Transformation category. Our entry shows, how, in partnership with the local authority and CCG, we have planned and implemented major transformation across our organisations with a proactive and preventative approach, impacting on the wider network.
I am very pleased that the hard work and perseverance of our TEC teams is being rewarded and acknowledged by the shortlisting and wish everyone luck for the ceremony”
