Teams from all divisions of NRS Healthcare came together to take part in a sling awareness day held by one of the UKs leading moving and handling equipment specialists.

The training session took place both online and at NRS’ central office in Bardon, featuring a new range of slings from Care & Independence, which have been OT approved.

Colleagues from Clinical Services, the Product Management team, Customer Services, Digital Trading and Contract teams as well as OTs took part.

Vanessa said:

“This is the first training session I’ve hosted, covering the range of slings we sell and use on our contracts; it was informative, interesting and fun. Everyone who attended, whether in person, or via Teams, said it was great. The benefits of hosting such training sessions are that it is about putting our customers first helping me to further understand their needs. It was also great for internal collaborations to broaden product knowledge throughout the wider team, helps us to ensure comprehensive online content for our customers so they can find the right information and guidance easily and to create training videos for use by our clinical and OT teams.”

“We were very pleased with how the session went. They help people to become familiar with the slings, understanding their key features and benefits, as well as the different styles.”
