We were delighted to welcome Richard Webb, Director of adult social care, North Yorkshire Council and Cllr Harrison to the opening of our Living Independently Training Hub (LIT Hub) in North Yorkshire.
Our local TECS team, under the guidance of Service & Transformation Manager, Joanna Savage and Matt Woods, Project Co-ordinator have worked tirelessly to ensure the building was ready for the opening day.
The LIT Hub is a resource open to health and social care professionals and other organisations within the North Yorkshire area who may benefit from learning about and using TEC.
Our local TEC experts can demonstrate how specific pieces of technology can support people to remain living more independently in their own homes. After paying a visit to the Hub, Claire Bell, Service Manager, Technology Enabled Care, Housing, Technology and Sustainability Team, NYC said
“A huge effort by all involved and we now have a great resource to improve assessors and wider partners understanding of TEC and all it can bring.”
