NRS Healthcare joined organisations and charities from around the county to take part in the 138th annual Lincolnshire Show.

Colleagues from both the ICES and TECS team attended the two-day agricultural event, talking to visitors in the Greater Lincolnshire Councils marquee, about how the community equipment service we provide and technology enabled care enable people to live independently in their homes for longer.

They also took a selection of equipment and provided demonstrations to those wanting to learn more about how it could specifically help them.

Gavin Thirkell, Telecare Team Leader in Lincolnshire, said:

“I have worked for NRS Healthcare for more than 16 years, and one of the main reasons is because there is nothing quite like the thank you received from a parent who has taken a delivery for child, or speaking to someone who is grateful their mum or dad was able to spend their final few days at home because of us. We enjoyed being able to talk to those who came to see us and explain more about what we do, but the highlight for me was those who took the time to thank us because they’d used our services. We also took the opportunity to talk with other organisations and local councillors about our work.”
