We are delighted to announce that we will be working as a strategic partner of ESCC to deliver a new innovative way of using technology in East Sussex supporting people to live more independently for longer.

Our local team of technology enabled care experts will be working with key stakeholders across East Sussex. These will include health and social care professionals, commissioners, service user and third sector organisations to co-produce important elements of the service and to ensure a co-ordinated approach to support.

Technology enabled care is a brand of health and care, helping to support people through the use of technology. Our TEC partnership aims to complement other services and support clients to live as independently and safely as possible, to maintain their wellbeing and quality of life and reduce the level of social care interventions required.

Rupert Lawrence, Head of TEC for NRS Healthcare has said of the partnership

“We are thrilled to start our strategic partnership and bring our expertise of TEC into East Sussex from 1st September 2023.

Our team are excited in the coming weeks, to connect with service users, their carers and local practioners to shape the service ready for our launch.

We’ll be continuing to communicate and meet with these stakeholders throughout the contract to ensure we keep their views at the forefront of our service development.

A transformed TEC Service and the benefits it can provide across the county will be a real benefit to the residents of East Sussex.”
