We’re proud to have been able to help the people living in Colne, which sits within our Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Integrated Community Equipment Services (ICES) contract.
A defibrillator donated by us has recently been installed outside the village hall in Colne, Cambridgeshire, with thanks being received from the Parish Council.
The defibrillator is in the process of being registered with the East of England Ambulance Service, registration allows people to easily find and use a defibrillator when it’s needed, increasing the chance of saving a persons’ life.
Community defibrillators also require local guardians and several villagers have already volunteered their time to carry out the regular checks needed.
You can see more information about funding a community defibrillator on the British Heart Foundations website here.
